Part two of my post

In addition to the whole prime fish what if you need a special rod for every area makes since you need better rods to catch better fish so what if every area npc on each islands can have either enchanted rods for that area that can be redeemed by the prime cvarient fish in that area for or maybe just enchant books for your rods

Also what if at every area every npc has a required amou t of prime fish to unlock the recipe for. Lvl 1-10 fishery schematic you can build on your is but this would be the final and most exspennsive prime redeeamble for each area with a fishery its just a pond with that areas fish so a lvl one fishery would only have cod and clams

All I'd like to see mostly is a way to cut the time it takes to fish. I remember fishing on the old server and how tedious it was due to the time it took.

An idea for fishing item classes:
  • There will be four rarity classes to start: common, rare, very rare, and epic(legendary may come at high tier fishing areas).
  • Common items will be fished 75% of the time.
  • Rare items will be fished 15% of the time.
  • Very Rare items will be fished 9% of the time.
  • Epic items will be fished 1% of the time.


An idea for iron fishery(copied from the format in the update):

Iron Fishery (Unlocked at Level 5 Fishing):
  • Raw Salmon
    • Common item
    • Level: 5
    • Sells for 150 Stars (Cooked for 300 Stars)
    • Fishing XP: 20
    • Actual Item: Raw Salmon
  • Metal scrap
    • Rare item
    • Level: 7
    • Does not sell
    • Fishing XP: 35
    • Actual Item: Iron nugget
    • Custom crafting recipe: 10 metal scraps and 25 string crafts an Iron Fishing Rod*
  • Iron ore seed
    • Epic item
    • Not sure how levels would apply to this
    • Fishing XP: 150


*Iron Fishing Rod:
  • Reduced fishing time by 5%
  • Common item fish chance reduced from 75% to 70%
  • Rare item fish chance increased from 15% to 18%
  • Very rare item fish chance increased from 9% to 10.9%
  • Epic item fish chance increased from 1% to 1.1%

Idea:
  • Rarer and better fishing rods can be obtained at later stages
Love this idea.

Possible rewards from catching fish (lowest tier to highest tier dependent on the fishing’s level):

- ore seed slivers
- low tier spawner pieces
- XP bottles
- enchants
- ancient runes (or a new relic you can only get from fishing)
- money notes
- new “pieces” for armour (several coloured dyes which you have to take to the skill crafting table to then make a new armour set that is a collectible and based off of fishing; could give you kelp every so often if you shift in armour etc)
- a very rare sword that was lost at sea (should be VERY rare)
- a pet fish, better than fin tho (sorry fin!)

New fishing quest:
Catch 100 of each type to then get fishing xp to level fishing, this also unlocks a new area you can fish at to get better loot.

I love the concept of fishing, I would have to sit for a while and brainstorm ideas, but for now I'd love to see this implemented and developed, I love fishing! I could sit for hours doing it XD

I’m sure you will set up a good loot table and system for leveling, all I ask is that you should make levels infinite and very very slow progression so it’s kind of an infinite grind with items that’s actually worth spending time fishing for.

I also think it’d be awesome if you made multiple tiers of fishing rods with different rarity. Perhaps a certain rod that is limited amount obtainable as a collectible super rare item.

Fishing Pet:

Passive Ability: Extra Chance for rare loot
Active Ability: Next hook gives at least 1 rare item

This pet’s ability would give more rare items the higher level, cooldown could be same as miner pets.

Fishing Rod enchants/abilities:

- Super pull ability: Pulls up to 10 items in one pull with a cooldown.

- Hell Fisher enchant: An enchant that makes you able to fish in lava. Lava fishing would have an additional loot table with some other custom drops.

- Tracker enchant or trinket that counts how many fishes you have collected with a rod.

- Inquisitive enchant: Gives extra fishing xp.

I loooove fishing and when it comes out I’m gonna wanna do it all the time so please take my suggestions into consideration to make it as good as possible! 😄

On Skybounds 1 we had Corrupted Kits which contained armor sets with set bonuses. A fishing update is the perfect oportunity to release corrupted kits back again! Make a way to obtain corrupted keys and have the same system for it as you did on Skybounds 1 where you had to claim keys to upgrade your corrupted kits.

Then release a Fisher Corrupted Kit with an armor set with a set bonus that boosts your fishing progression. Corrupted kits also has a lot of potential for other kits as well.

Another thing that would be awesome to add in this update is a fishing openable;

Pandora’s Box:

Item: Enchanted End Frame
Loot: Fishing drops and custom items/rods
Obtainable from: Rare fishing drop.

You've all been asking for a new skill and we've been working on many of them... for season 2.
That said we'd still like to get you all a new skill in season 1 sooner than later!

Fishing!

The plan for the Fishing Skill in Season 1 is to have it be very similar to how fishing in vanilla minecraft works.
There will be checks in place to prevent afk and auto fishing abuse.
The main difference is that you will need to Level Up the Fishing Skill to unlock new fishing zones in the Fishing Village.
  • Leveling up your Fishing skill allows to access higher level fishing zones
  • New area of Spawn called “Fishing Village” that contains a variety of fishing zones
  • These zones are defined by the perimeter block surrounding the water, each zone gives players access to new fish to catch
    • Stone Fishery
    • Iron Fishery
    • Gold Fishery
    • Diamond Fishery
    • Emerald Fishery
    • Obsidian Fishery
    • Glowstone Fishery
    • Prismarine Fishery
    • Bedrock Fishery
Stone Fishery (Unlocked at Level 1 Fishing):
  • Raw Cod
    • Level: 1
    • Sells for 75 Stars (Cooked for 150 Stars)
    • Fishing XP: 10
    • Actual Item: Raw Cod
  • Stone Clam
    • Level: 3
    • Sells for 250 Stars

Reply with your ideas for types of "Fish/Loot" that you can catch based on the examples above!
Get creative and feel free to add more special notes like "used in a new Eco Crafting Recipe - and supply the details" or this rare shark tooth item provides you with strength 2 for 5 seconds when consumed. Really anything and you might see your idea in game when the Fishing update comes out.

We're also open to hearing suggestions on the way you'd like to see Fishing work in Season 1.
To be upfront we have another plan for Fishing in Season 2 along with a number of other skills.

Recipe: 2 Salmon 2 Coal
Sells for: Unsure, maybe 2,000-2,5000
Exp reward per crafting: Maybe 850 or so? I'll let the guys with the better judgement figure this out.

Oh I thought up an idea so there could be a schematic/block or machine of some sort called a Hatchery. Now what does it do you may ask? Hatcheries help with farming lower tiered fish and or higher tiered fish. To use a Hatchery, one must have the corresponding fish eggs.

Fish eggs can be crafted by using eggs + the type of fish. Example 1 egg + 1 cod = 1-2 Cod Eggs.
The eggs would produce either 2-4 fish per egg, after which a new egg is to be added. Rarer fish either could have
A. No eggs and be unable to be farmed like this
B. Higher crafting requirements

Another idea would be a recycler of some sort. What does it do you may ask? It is an item or block that when you place items in it, it would produce other items. There could be a chance for you to catch junk during fishing that you can use in the recycler to gain other things such as iron ingots or other items that are more useful.

There also could be fish farms which basically help with auto fishing. These would be used in conjunction with hatcheries for optimal results. A fish farm can also be used to produce other items as well such as for example "Fish Bones" and Fish Oil. Glass bottles may need to be provided but it would produce items that could be for either other recipes or simply eco recipes.

This is just a basic concept of the ideas I had in mind, if you guys have any suggestions or comments about it feel free to drop them. Thanks for reading.
