    Alts, are kinda OP though, People just afk with them, and get so much money, I do wish they could find some way to get past it, like an IP thingy
    .... Alts are not going to get banned, nor going to not be allowed. Everyone can get them and are allowed to use, not sure how alts are any more op than just a normal team members, as you could just afk with a regular user account lol

    Admittedly, yes, the economy is not perfect. However, I believe you're looking in the wrong place.
    SkyBounds is essentially an MMORPG. All MMORPG's can suffer from poorly scaled economy.
    As more people play there's more in game currency being generated. As more people level up EVEN MORE in game currency is being generated. Regardless of P2W Rank Kits there's going to constantly be more cash injected into the game. For clarity the Rank Kit Star Notes are a bit OP at the higher island levels still and we want to find good ways to balance that without ruining Team based Islands.

    So the question really is - where does all that in game currency go?

    That's what we are trying to figure out behind the scenes.
    Currently Stars are spent on:
    • Island Levels (Gain access to new unlocks that help you earn more Stars)
    • Robots (Help you automate your Island to earn more Stars)
    • Auto-Chests, Teleporters, Ranks from other Players, and other valuable in game items as purchases from other players via the Auction House... (Again what's the goal from this: to automate and industrialize your Island to make more Stars)

    • Early Game is currently really well balanced and fun (could always use more fun content though!)
    • Mid Game is fun learning how to automate your island, but it would be nice to have more to do than Level up your Skills and Build up your Island to help earn more Stars
    • Late to End Game is currently just more of the Mid Game but with more Island automation
    What should Stars be used for that can be enjoyed by players at all stages of SkyBounds Gameplay?
    That is the real question that we are trying to find a good answer to.
    We have ideas and plans (that will take time to be developed), but we are always open to hearing more from our community. Please try to think of things that are accessible to all levels of players... not things like "10 Billion Stars for THIS!" that again only widens the gap between the top players and beginners.

    What do you think?

    2. Spending money gets you more money (Duh)
    3. Investments in money Sinks (robots/island levels) are not worth it.

    What you need to do is look at other problems and provide solutions to them using stars to create more money sinks. some of the biggest problems i have noticed are

    People being forced into the warzone or do parkour for challenges maybe the millionaire merchant can sell challenge passes

    It is INSAINLY hard to get oreseeds if you don't have a kit that drops them maybe a way to buy oreseeds from the server shop or a upgrade to islands to get more ore seed shard drops.

    Um island levels and automation and Is upgrades are worth it. You just arent that far in the game yet. Ik the top 2 islands have maxed is upgraded and robots

    robot/island upgrades are not worth it- This is something that i mentioned in beta and was told it was "beta it would be tweaked" and it was... to an extent. today i maxed my first 2 farming robots just to burn some money it cost me 70m EACH and all i get is like 1k crops more a harvest. at this rate if i just sell the beetroot it provides it will take WEEKS to get the money back. Granted I will probably end up turning that beetroot into salads and holiday meals as much as possible. Upgrades like More Spawners are relatively useless at higher island levels already because spending money to level your island already gives you more spawners our current cap at Island lv 20 is 1800 spawners and we are barely using half of that.

    Price wars are both good and bad. Lets take a look at angel/demon dust. In Beta it was anywhere between 20 to 100k a %. It wasn't common but if the average low level player wanted some you wanted some you could find some on the ah in that price range. as of today both are in the 500k-2.5M range for 1 % usually settling around 1-1.25m for 1% That is enough to buy from island lv 1 -> 10 in beta you would sometimes find it in looted chests because of how little the value was. Now unless you are making a diamond Gset or using scrolls its not worth it to use it at all. As Much as i hate to say it there needs to be a REASONABLY low and high cap on /ah and please do not use /pc numbers..... Price wars are bad because low level players can be forced to sell things cheap because higher level players will force the price down by selling things at lower prices and then the lower level players have to lower their prices to compete... They can be good because they can lower prices so players can buy things cheaper.

    There is more i want to put here but im afraid of character limits so I might post another post ;)

    Fam, the robots r worth it if you know how to use it... They're useful as it saves up the work and for a price of 70mil to 90mil per robot is worth it cuz some ppl can't be bothered to grind themselves... Its worth it af

    Robots are super worth it, when you actually get to the later stages of game. Makes you able to just afk and hit all your daily quotes. Also not quite sure where you what you are meaning by the whole price wars situation. Never seen a "low level" player has to sell stuff for cheap because higher level players will force the price down. I bet that 99% people on here are trying to sell items for the biggest amount of possible. If the demand is high it's going to sell for more than if its fairly common to get which it could be if both top level players and low level players have it.

    I agree on the challenge pass, but i don't think that would make a big change to the economy. Ore nodes can sure be fairly hard to obtain, but if you grind for some hours at spawn/dwarf mines, you will get a fair amount of nodes shards.

    Yeah but angel dust really is worth that much, remember, in beta duping was very common, everyone already had duped gsets. There was no point in going for dust either as alot of it was duped aswell.

    Now with full release, there are over 50 people doing warzone grinding as opposed to like 5 doing it in beta. Economy isnt broken, any players can easily achieve high money amounts, the thing that pushes top islands to the top, are the hours and hours put into grinding, which is exactly how it works in real life. Hard work pays off, the people who work harder = the people who are on top. Money isn't the issue, the issue is players complaining after playing for 5 minutes wondering why they dont have a billion yet.

    No one is at that point yet. We are royals even we dont have that excess star amount we put all our money into late game automation. The extra money we do have is from that so trust me when I say 500m for a top rank is nothing.

    This will always be a problem, the more players/higher level players the more money there will be in-game. That's actually nothing that can be done about. An example: In the start the comet rank went for 25 million. I know people who sold it for that and lower. Now you are lucky if you get it under 400m. There is no real chance for lower level people to get ahead, if they haven't grinded from the start, hence season for annual resets.

    All the feedback here has been reviewed and we appreciate the input.

    That said we've got some really cool plans to resolve the Economy and add exciting worthwhile content.
    It's going to take some time of course - but we will get there!

    Weekly updates resume this Thursday and know we will be working on a major release as well for Season 2.

I'm not saying it should be cheap but if maybe some quests, loot from different crates/chest and then maybe the possibility to buy them in the market.

    I know the server needs money to operate and I understand that, but it can seem a little bit unfair that some things is just buyable through p2w instead of just ingame grinding.

    We have plans for Boost Gems / Play to Win VS Pay to Win features as well.

    I'm mainly out for the /fly on my island and for that I'll need 3 more boost gems. Sadly you can't just buy /fly on the shop, instead you need to buy 5 boost gems.
    Previously you just had to pay 10$ to get fly 5hours a day but now its 50$
    Yeah sucks, but at least there are some ways you can obtain them in-game if your lucky
